Josh’s sporting career began as a child on the baseball field and grew to involve places on the volleyball, curling, and cross-country running teams. While he stills plays volleyball recreationally, he has begun to learn and participate in new sports such as rowing and climbing. Being so closely involved in athletics for most of his life led Josh to pursue a career working with athletes. So, he began his journey in the fitness field at Red Deer College pursuing a diploma in kinesiology and sports studies. Following that, he went on to complete his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology at the University of Alberta with a focus in sports performance. The last step of his degree involved a practicum placement here at RVX and he has been a member of the team ever since in an assistant coach/research capacity. Josh is currently completing courses to increase his knowledge of using data to facilitate energy systems development, recovery, and individualization through EXOS. His ambition is to support others in their athletic pursuits by bringing a unique perspective and years of education to RVX Factor.
